Miguel Spínola and Gonçalo dos Reis Martins take part in annual conference on investment in Africa

Miguel Spínola, partner  and head of the PLMJ Mozambique Desk, and Gonçalo dos Reis Martins, a partner from PLMJ Capital Markets, are taking part in the Annual Investing in Africa Conference, on 22 and 23 June. The conference was organised by the IBA in Paris, France. The aim of this, the 3rd edition of the annual meeting, is to debate the opportunities, challenges and trends in cross-border transactions in French and Portuguese-speaking Africa. The meeting will also address the topic of renewable energies in Africa and prospects for investors, among others.

The speakers at the conference are international specialists from a wide variety of sectors, with experience in and contacts with the African markets. They come from Fulbright, Dentons, Orange and E&Y, among many others. The objective of the PLMJ lawyers is to invest in networking and in creating new business opportunities. As always, their ultimate objective is to strengthen their focus on the synergies that exist on the African continent and to put their resources and their capacity to respond to clients' need to the best use.
