Tomás Timbane, a PLMJ international partner and head of the Mozambique firm TTA, and Pedro Metello de Napóles, a partner from PLMJ Arbitration, are both speaking at the ICC Arbitration Conference in Luanda, which takes place on 30 May at the Memorial Agostinho Neto.
The PLMJ lawyers will discuss the "Current regional challenges in international arbitration in Africa" and "The rules of the Private Investment Law in Angola". The event will be attended by more than 20 arbitration specialists from Angola, Brazil, Spain, Portugal and Mozambique. They will be joined by representatives from Angolan public bodies such as the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Angolan Bar Association and the Supreme Court. This event is aimed at lawyers in litigation and arbitration practice, directors and legal advisers from companies involved in international commercial arbitration, students and other legal professionals.
