Tomás Timbane, founding partner and head of the law firm TTA - Sociedade de Advogados, a member of PLMJ International Legal Network, and current President of the Mozambican Bar Association, took part in the seminar "The SADC Tribunal" yesterday. The objective of this seminar was to take a look at the role of this tribunal in protecting human rights in the countries of Southern African Development Community. The event took place at the Complexo Pedagógico of Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, in Maputo. It was organised by the Mozambique Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados de Moçambique - OAM) in partnership with the SADC Lawyers' Association (SADC LA), the Centre for Human Rights of the Faculty of Law of UEM, the League of NGOs in Mozambique (JOINT) and the National Commission of Human Rights.
