Tomás Timbane, international partner at GLM - Gabinete Legal Moçambique, took part in the 2nd International Congress of Portuguese-speaking lawyers, which took place between 24 and 26 May at the Talatona Conventions Hotel in Luanda, Angola. Under the theme of "The Legal Profession, The State of Law and Development", the congress addressed questions related to the legal profession in the constitutions of Portuguese-speaking countries, the Commonwealth system and cooperation in the Portuguese-speaking legal profession. The congress also featured a presentation of the OHADA - Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa.
Also present at this event were Natércia Sitoé, a lawyer at GLM, as well as representatives of GLA - Gabinete Legal Angola, international senior associate Nuno Chaves Frota and lawyers Helga Candeias and Renata Valenti.
