Tomás Timbane, international partner at GLM - Gabinete Legal Moçambique, a member of PLMJ International Legal Network, is one of the speakers at the 1st Congress for Justice, which is entitled "The quality and speed of justice". Tomás Timbane, who is also president of the jurisdictional council of the Mozambican Bar Association, is to speak on "The slowness of justice - the lawyers' perspective".
The congress, which is to take place on 13 and 14 September at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre in Maputo, will be opened by the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, and will feature the presence of leading members of the government and all the institutions of administration of justice, as well as the presidents of the Portuguese and Brazilian Bar Associations, António Marinho Pinto and Ophir Calvacante Júnior.
