Alfiado is a Senior Associate with more than 18 years’ experience as a lawyer and his main practice area is litigation, where he advises on civil cases, criminal cases, employment cases, and arbitrations.

He regularly acts for clients from the banking sector in debt recovery cases, and criminal and employment law cases. He has also represented clients in collective redundancy and corporate restructuring cases.

Alfiado has a Master’s in legal sciences from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in coordination with the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

He is a member of the AMS - Mozambican Association of Insurers, where he is currently secretary of the board of the general meeting.

Since 2004, Alfiado has been a lecturer in the subject of Civil Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law of Eduardo Mondlane University and, since 2009, he has also lectured in General Civil Law, a subject he currently heads.
