Alfiado Pascoal participates in the International Conference on Sovereign Insurance

Alfiado Pascoal, Senior Associate at TTA, participates as moderator in the International Conference on Sovereign Insurance Against Disasters, Environment and Climate Change, to be held in Maputo, between the 28th and 29th of November, in an initiative of the Banca&Seguros Magazine and partners.

This is the Fifth Banca&Seguros Conference and this edition is subordinated to the theme “Parametric Insurance of Climate Indexes (Sovereign Insurance Against Disasters), Environment and Climate Change”.

Alfiado Pascoal will moderate the Panel that will reflect on the “challenges and perspectives in contracting sovereign insurance against disasters”.

The main objective of the Maputo Conference is to reflect on the challenges and opportunities that the introduction of Sovereign Natural Disaster Risk Insurance may represent for Mozambique, bearing in mind that the country is cyclically hit by floods and cyclones that cause destruction of property. public and private, including human lives.

It intends to bring together approximately 400 participants representing Public and Private Institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations and National and International Experts in Parametric Insurance of Climate Indexes, also known as Sovereign Insurance Against Disasters.
