Tomás Timbane launches a new book entitled “Lessons in Civil Procedure”. This is the second volume of this work, edited by Escolar Editora.
The work will be presented on Wednesday, the 23rd of November, at 4pm, at the Porto Gallery in Maputo and in Nampula, on Thursday, the 24th of November, at 5pm, at the Café Restaurante Oriental Building.
This event will feature the presentation of the book, in Maputo, by Master Elisa Samuel, Director of the Juridical and Judicial Training Center and in Nampula, by Master Nelson Jeque, Counselor Judge of the Administrative Court (Nampula). In Maputo, a lecture will also be given on the topic Current Challenges of Economic Justice by Dr. Juscelina Guirengane Quembo, Businesswoman.
According to Tomás Timbane, Partner and Lawyer at TTA, "this is a long-awaited book that seeks to combine teaching and advocacy. The book problematizes the current legal solutions, many of which are long obsolete and points out alternatives for new legal regimes and draws attention to the need for reform, which can contribute to procedural speed, improvement of the business environment and greater credibility of justice”.
